About Our Dentists



Dr. Wade Newman holds a B.S. degree from Penn State and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. He has been honored with numerous professional awards from organizations including the American Society of Dentistry for Children, the Organization of Teachers of Oral Diagnosis and the National Dental Honor Society. A highlight of his professional experience was providing dental care to remote village communities in Guatemala.

 

 



Dr. Rich Miller earned his dental degree at Temple University School of Dentistry, and completed a general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown. He earned his undergraduate degree from Kutztown University and his Master's degree in Biological Sciences from Villanova University in Philadelphia and received special training in molecular biology and ecology.

Dr. Miller has served a number of non-profit organizations, including Jamaican Dental outreach—"1000 Smiles a Day" where he personally treated over 300 patients. Rich is an avid runner and Model car collector. He and his wife Jennifer have moved into the Toftrees area and are excited to become a part of the State College/Bellefonte community.

 


Dr. Frank Dankanich graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of Temple University Dental School. He has been in private practice in Bellefonte since 1975, treating all members of the family with an emphasis on prevention in a gentle setting. Dr. Dankanich has served organized dentistry for many years as a delegate to both the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is a US Army veteran (1969-1971), a member of the Bellefonte Elks and Kiwanis clubs, a volunteer for Centre Volunteers in Medicine, and has participated in Give Kids A Smile.

Members of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Centre County Dental Society, and the Nittany Alliance. Both doctors are members of the American Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia and Sedation Dentistry and the Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures.

We are happy to serve you from 8am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Tuesday we are available 8am to 6pm and Friday 8am to noon.
